Teclis is a fictional character, a High Elf mage from Warhammer Fantasy fictional universe and games.

Teclis is the twin brother to the more famous High Elf warrior, Tyrion. While Tyrion was fair and strong, Teclis was weak and only maintained his health through the regular use of potions. He studied the magic in the shelter of the White Tower of Hoeth and over time his skill and knowledge became greater than that of the oldest masters of the Tower.

During the Great War against Chaos, Teclis came out of his sheltered existence to hold back the armies of the Dark Elves and their Chaos allies. After learning that his brother was missing with the Everqueen, he was given ancient "War Crown of Saphery" by the Masters of the Tower and set out after his brother. Malekith the witch king of the Dark Elves had sent out numerous spies to hunt the Everqueen and Tyrion down. After discovering their location Malekith sent a "Keeper of Secrets", a greater daemon of Slaanesh, to kill Tyrion. Tyrion could not defeat the daemon as he had been poisoned but Teclis arrived destroyed the daemon magically. Together he and his brother began to turn the tide in the war. In the final battle, Teclis faced off against the witch king himself in magical combat. When their private battle came to a standstill, Teclis invoked the power of the Moon Staff of Lileath, a gift from the Everqueen, to pour magical energy at Malekith. causing Malekith to cast himself into the void to escape. After securing the High Elf homeland, Teclis, with his comrades Finreir and Yrtle, came to the Old World to aid the human Empire in their fight against chaos. In addition to lending their own considerable magical prowess to the battles against Chaos, they also taught basic spells to the hedge-wizards of the Empire. Seeing what a pivotal role magic played in the war, Emperor Magnus the Pious lifted the ban on magic from his people and asked Teclis to educate them further in arts of spellcasting. To this end, Teclis founded the Colleges of Magic in the Empire.

Teclis played a role centuries later in the Storm of Chaos, by supplying Swordmasters of Hoeth and a readily available Sea Guard to Emperor Karl Franz. Furthermore, Teclis destroyed the entire daemonic army of Be'lakor single-handedly.
