Technotopia is a portmanteau, a concatenation of the words technology and utopia. It describes an abstract futuristic concept, a world where capital infrastructure, cheap energy, and computer-controlled mechanization come together to alleviate the burdens of modern life. Put more simply, technotopia is a technology driven utopia.
