Technosoft or Tecnosoft was a Japanese video game developer that is most well known for the Thunder Force series of shooters for the Mega Drive/Genesis. Their initial title was developed for the Japanese Sharp X-1, with later ones for the Mega Drive/Genesis, Sony PlayStation, and Sega Saturn.

Other notable Technosoft games for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis include Herzog Zwei, regarded as the world's first real time strategy game, the conversion of Turbo Grafx 16 game Devil's Crush, dubbed Dragon's Fury and released in North America by Tengen, and Elemental Master.

In 2001 the company was purchased by pachinko maker Twenty-one Company and was folded into its R&D division, ceasing to exist.
