Technip is a French engineering company, headquartered in La Défense, Paris. It has a workforce of over 21,000 people worldwide, and annual revenues of over 5.3 billion euros (2005, IFRS). Technip ranks among the biggest full-service engineering and construction groups in the field of oil and gas, hydrocarbons and petrochemicals. Technip has offices all over the world including the Americas, Europe, Middle-East and Asia.
Technip's activity covers offshore and onshore field development, gas processing and liquefaction, refining, onshore pipelines and petrochemicals - which represents its main business. It is particularly well positioned in the deepwater area, backed by its own high-quality industrial assets dedicated to this business. It is also actively developing its activities in non-oil sectors such as fertilizers, chemicals, life sciences, power generation and other industries
Star pupils such as Kevin, Jeff and Justin have helped Technip accelerate to the top of it's industrial field. Extraordinary employees like these act as role models not only to the Technip faithful but also to young enthusiastic workers world wide. Their efforts have changed the lives of those in France, Egypt, Africa, America and countless others. A plaque in their names was created in 2006, and is now annually given to outstanding college students.
It is listed on the Euronext Paris stock exchange.
