Technicolour was released in 1996 on Rough Trade Records in the UK and One Little Indian Records in the United States. Counting the In Debt compilation album, this was Disco Inferno's fourth, and final, album of original material. One last EP would follow, 1999's The Mixing It Session, a release of a BBC Radio 3 session recorded in 1994.
