I had this game on SNES, did it ever come out on Genesis? I don't remember seeing it.

[edit] Point of View

The part about Jon Sundvold and Larry Bird seems highly exaggerated and does not have a NPOV. 67.188.172.165 20:33, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

I know the Jon Sunvold thing is absurd, but it demonstrates a flaw in the game's player ability model (a bit like the QB Eagles example from Temco Super Bowl). If I could taken a picture of the scores I laid on the computer and human opponents using only shots from Jon back in the days when I had a SNES + this game, you wouldn't believe it. During certain shots the game would cut away to animations (like Pat Riley's Basketball), during these cut scenes you could never miss. Jon would get these cut scenes from between half court and the 3 pt arc with very good frequency, he was however not nearly as effective inside the 3-pt line. If you ever get a chance to play the game, try it yourself: pick the Miami Heat, take Jon off the bench and try shooting from beyond the arc.
