A tebibit (a contraction of tera binary binary digit) is a unit of information or computer storage, abbreviated Tibit or sometimes Tib.

1 tebibit = 240 bits = 1,099,511,627,776 bits = 1,024 gibibits

The tebibit is closely related to the terabit, which can either be a synonym for tebibit, or refer to 1012 bits = 1,000,000,000,000 bits, depending on context.
