Team nursing

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Team nursing is a method of nursing practice which utilizes the "economy of scale" philosophy by having one nurse or nursing assistant do one specialized function for all the inpatients within a nursing unit of a hospital. For example, one nurse may administer and record all the medications, while another checks and records the vital signs of those same inpatients.
