TeamXbox is a gaming media web site dedicated to the Microsoft Xbox and Xbox 360 platforms. While the majority of content is Xbox related, the site occasionally covers general technology and other video game news. Based on number of posts, TeamXbox is one of the top 100 forums on the Internet,[1] with more than 7 million posts and over 150,000 members.

TeamXbox was founded in 2000 by Brent "Shockwave" Soboleski and Steve "Bart" Barton. In 2001, Barton, Soboleski and Sol Najimi, of MSXbox, agreed to merge the MSXbox forums with the TeamXbox news site. Media conglomerate IGN purchased TeamXbox in 2003,[2] who in turn was purchased by News Corp. in 2005.
