Welcome!
Hello, Taylorhewitt, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}}
on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!
I saw the message you left on User talk:Fvw. Frank has not been active for some months on Wikipedia, so if you saw a message he left for an anonymous contributor, it would have been well out of date. You can ignore it. While you are logged in with a username, you will not see messages for anonymous contributors who have used the same IP address as you.-gadfium 18:47, 25 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Help Please
I have an account I created many months ago and I was wondering if somebody could delete that account please? It's name is "Taylor Hewitt" and I would also like it if this accounts name could be changed to that after it's deleted. I want to keep my contributions and everything I've set up on this account.
- Currently, the software does not allow and account to be deleted. Also, you can't take over an existing account. Your only option is to conintue using this account, and just leave a note at the old account explaining that you use this one now. Wikipedia:Changing username has further info.--Commander Keane 00:06, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
Thanks!

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to Elephant, are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thanks. ˉˉanetode╦╩ 20:13, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
- If Stephen Colbert told you to jump from the roof of a building, would you do it? 'Cause he will, if you keep adding that crap to the elephant article. ˉˉanetode╦╩ 20:19, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Please Unblock
I'm sorry for doing that. I really really want to contribute to wikipedia again :(
- Alright, we are giving you another chance. Please do not vandalise Wikipedia and make constructive edits only. Warm regards, --Nearly Headless Nick 10:48, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Don't remove speedy delete tags
If you don't agree with the tag, follow its instructions, don't delete it...that's considered vandalism. As for the Diana Lynne article, you need to document how this person meets Wikipedia:Notability (music). The reason for the delete tag is that there is no evidence of notability. [edit] Image tagging for Image:Xtremeitalk.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Xtremeitalk.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Diana's page
I'm sorry you think I'm mean...I'm really not, I'm just a stickler for having a professional-level encyclopedia. I'm actually quite willing to help new users. Given how you feel about me, you may not be open to constructive input, but I'll try to share some with you, anyway. Please keep in mind, this is first and foremost an encyclopedia. If you haven't done so yet, please take a look at Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not. Keep in mind we're not a complete listing of everyone who's ever done anything. As an encyclopedia, there has to be a level of notability, of significant achievements to be listed. You wouldn't expect Diana to be listed in Encyclopedia Britannica or Colliers Encyclopedia, would you? Is she really that famous? Both my daughter and I are accomplished guitarists and songwriters (and I've written a book, even), and my son is the lead singer in a popular local band, but you won't find articles on us, because we just haven't achieved that high level of notability yet. Wikipedia isn't a free, add anything place. We have standards at Wikipedia, which is why I sent you to Wikipedia:Notability (music). You asked me why she shouldn't be included. Wrong question. It's on you to demonstrate why she should be included. Sounds like Diana is a gifted musician, and it actually sounds like she plays the kind of music I like to listen to. I tend to buy self-released CDs from underground guitarists and street musicians, because that's where so much raw talent and great song writing can be found. But, until Diana achieves a greatness that qualifies her per the Wikipedia standards, she'll just have to consider inclusion here a goal to strive for.
As for technical stuff, I'd like to share a few pointers. If you're building a page, and don't want it deleted until you're done, here's what you do. On your user page, create link that looks like this \sandbox except put it inside two [[ ]] square brackets. That'll create a red link. You then click on it, and start building your page, and it won't show up as a new encyc. page, so won't be a candidate for review. Once you get it built, have someone who's familiar with WP style to review it for you (yeah, I know you think I'm mean, but I'd actually be more than willing to help you with this) and give you any pointers. Once it's ready, you create the name for the real page, cut and paste (from the edit mode screen) the text from your sandbox, and voila, you have a ready-to-go, professional-looking encyclopedia entry that will contribute meaningfully to the project. Also, make sure that you include a couple of things: 1) links to other pages. An article without links gets unfavorable attention. 2)Make sure you have and list references. Wikipedia has a policy Wikipedia:No original research which basically says that you need to be reporting information that's written elsewhere. So, for instance, if Diana has reviews, list them, and quote from them (but don't cut-and-paste them wholesale, as that's a copyright violation).
Lastly, a point of ediquitte...when you leave a message on a talk page or a user's talk page, make sure you sign it with four tildas (the ~) symbol...that will automatically add your sig and date.
Let me know if you have any other questions. Akradecki 17:37, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

- No problem. Don't loose heart. Too bad you're not in Southern California...I'd invite you over for a jam. Also, the information about you and Diana is very appropriate to put on your user pages. Akradecki 18:25, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
Naw, don't have MSN. No time for it (wikipedia is an all-consuming disease!). I'm up at Myspace as "Chopper Doc". My real job is to maintain a medevac helicopter. Akradecki 18:53, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy Tags on your own articles
Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. --Geoffrey Spear 20:22, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
i already wrote my explanation and it said to remove those things
i deserve a page dude
Taylor Hewitt 20:22, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
It most certainly did not tell you to remove the tags yourself. Wait for an administrator to make that decision. Geoffrey Spear 20:25, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
Thank you for experimenting with the page Anal sex on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. Rsm99833 23:19, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on the contributor; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. -- Omicronpersei8 (talk) 00:04, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Hey Jerk
What the hell is your problem? How is it anybody's business that I got kicked out? How is it relevant to the deletion discussion page of Xtreme iTalk, hmm? Please tell me that.
Jesus I'm an honest guy and all I want is my article on wikipedia. If you take it down then fine I'll accept it for now but please don't make yourself feel better by putting me down in un-neccesary ways.
Taylor Hewitt 00:03, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
- The problem is your constant reverts of AfD tags, and your WP:CIVIL attitude. Let's face it, Xtreme iTalk is a NN board where 25% of the postings have come from you, and it just does not belong in Wikipedia at this time ... maybe someday, but not today. --Dennette 00:12, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] okay
well sure its not famous and sure i like to keep an active role in the community, but i dont see that as a bad thing.
i guess i dont understand how wikipedia works fully then. i didnt think it was a big deal about removing that thing but i guess it is. i was actually hoping nobody would notice but i guess i was wrong :P
by the way what is NN?
thanks
Taylor Hewitt 00:15, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
- NN means Not Notable. "i was actually hoping nobody would notice but i guess i was wrong" probably comes from your being only 16 years old ... and yes, removing Wikipedia:Articles for deletion tags is a Very Big Deal. You just don't seem to realize that everything you post on the 'Net is by definition "public" and available for anyone to see.
- Maybe mentioning that you are homeless was insensitive on my part, for which I apologize, but the point is that it did not take very long to figure out that you were the person behind the "anonymous" deletion of the tag from Xtreme iTalk since you had left the clues in your "Officially Homeless" blogs (that showed up on a Google search on your name during the previous deletion discussion), and NetworkSolutions.com let's anyone find the location of an IP address from the history logs, and I felt that your attempts to derail the discussion should be brought to the attention of the administrators who don't have the time to track down every WP:VANDAL. --Dennette 00:49, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
