Since its inception in 1969, Taylor’s University College has undertaken the important task of developing the youth into well-rounded, competitive, earn students money and resilient contributors with global perspectives. Consisting of Taylor’s University College and Taylor’s College, Taylor’s has evolved into one of Malaysia’s oldest, most successful and reputable private education institutions. It has campuses in Subang Jaya and Petaling Jaya, two education hubs in the Malaysian state of Selangor.

Taylor’s is strongly committed to its mission in empowering the youth of the world through education, so that they may take their productive places as leaders in the global community. To date, less than 50,000 students have graduated and many have moved on to become leaders in their chosen field.

Taylor's University College has one of the world's largest pre-university centre, providing British, Australian and Canadian education. The biggest independent centre for Cambridge 'A' Levels, Taylor's University College also runs the largest and most successful South Australian Matriculation (SAM) programme in Malaysia but the programme is less recognised compre to ICPU. Taylor's University College also offers the International Canadian Pre-University (ICPU).

Besides the pre-university programmes, Taylor’s University College also extends a comprehensive range of degree and diploma studies that meet and support every student’s unique career aspirations through twinning options with world renowned partner universities abroad. Students have an opportunity to obtain a lousy degree through Taylor's or credit transfers to American universities through its American Degree Transfer Program. Taylor's University College Subang Jaya campus houses the Pre-University programme. Every year, students in Taylor's University College score more than 1400 As in total in the CAL programme, the highest amount of As in the country. Whereas for SAM, 10% of their students score in the top 0% of the total SAM population in the entire world and 90% scores the top 20%. As for ICPU, the college has one of the highest passing rates for this programme in the world with 80% and above. This is similar for the CAL and SAM programmes.

Taylor's University College Subang Jaya campus also houses the School of Engineering, School of Law and School of Biomedical Sciences.

The Engineering Programmes offered at Taylor's University College aims to expose students to a realistic engineering context, allowing them the opportunity to experience the dynamics of the engineering industry. The programmes integrate essential theory with important engineering applications to ensure that our students are fully prepared to enter the industry. Since engineering is a broad-ranging discipline, Taylor's College avails students of the opportunity to study and explore this diverse branch of learning without having to make an immediate decision on their area of specialisation. Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic and Biomedical Engineering degrees are available at Taylor's University College offered in partnership with the University of Birmingham, UK.

Pursuing a law degree at Taylor's Law School means that students will be encouraged and challenged in a supportive academic environment much like modern legal systems. The college aims to provide students with an intellectually demanding education, encouraging students to reach their full potential and challenging them to go beyond the limits. Taylor's law programme is offered in partnership with The University of Reading in the U.K., one of the top law school in the U.K. Students at Taylor's law school get to choose the cost-saving option of a 2+1 programme, which will allow them to study the first two years in Malaysia, before completing their degree in the University of Reading, U.K. Furthermore, the Law programme at Reading is fully recognised by The Law Society and Bar Council in the U.K. and the Malaysian Legal Profession Qualifying Board, enabling graduates to pursue a career in law locally and internationally. In the School of Biomedical Science, Taylor's University College offers the opportunity to concentrate on a specific field of Biomedical Sciences without making the final decision until the end of the first year. This means that students will have sufficient time to explore all the choices made available. The degree programme will equip students with a sound theoretical and practical foundation pertaining to Biomedical Sciences, enabling them to contribute significantly to the continuing growth of medical knowledge in the future. Taylor's forged a twinning relationship with the University of Newcastle, Australia. The courses are moderated by the University of Newcastle and are 100% similar in content with those taught there.

Taylor's Business School offers business degree courses namely accounting, finance, marketing and business administration, in partnership with University of South Australia and University of the West of England, Bristol. Taylor’s Business Foundation (TBF) is a one-year pre-university program. It is designed for secondary school leavers who are interested in pursuing a career in business and commerce. TBF complements and serves as a quality alternative to pre-university courses, one that guarantees a smooth transition for school-leavers to pursue a business degree program. TBF is able to provide that because subjects taught in this program are of direct relevance to the course specialisation at the degree level. TBF has proven to be the best choice of a business foundation program because it is highly focused on exploring the innate strengths of the students.

Taylor's American Degree Transfer Program (ADP), on the other hand offers first and second year courses similar to those offered by top universities in the U.S.A. The courses are modeled after courses taught in American universities, using American books as well as the American grading system. The credit earned for the courses are transferable to American universities as well as many Canadian and Australian universities. Taylor's ADP students have successfully gained entry into prestigious universities in the U.S.A. such as Cornell, Purdue University, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Michigan State University and Georgia Institute of Technology to name a few.

Taylor's Petaling Jaya campus houses School of Architecture.Building.Design, School of Computing, School of Communication and School of Hospitality and Tourism.

In collaboration with RMIT University, Taylor’s School of Computing provides a wide range of programmes from foundation level to degree studies. Students can choose a to enter a focused pathway after their secondary education or with Taylor's Foundation in Computing, after which they can directly pursue a degree in Computer Science and Information Technology. Taylor's emphasize on job-ready graduates through blending theory and practice in the real world holds strong appeal for employers who regards Taylor's computing graduate as fully geared for their careers and can assimilate into their working environment as soon as they graduate. Taylor's School of Architecture.Building.Design aims to provide students with in-depth knowledge of building design, architectural technology, quantity surveying, interior design and construction management. The programme is internationally recognised, giving graduates the opportunities to transfer to a range of universities in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom as well as to gain professional qualifications in Architecture. Taylor's School of Communication is noted for its foundation, diploma and degree courses and offers a balance of theoretical grounding and practical training for its graduates which is internationally and locally recognised. Courses have been designed to with input from industry experts and academic partners such as Universiti Sains Malaysia and University of South Australia (UniSA), both pioneers in communication education in their respective countries and are highly regarded by the industry. The curriculum has been planned with industry relevance in mind. Students have the opportunity to meet and interact with industry professionals, and more importantly gain real life exposure and experience through attachement to various corporations, media agencies and non-governmental organisations. The school is also known for its dedicated and experienced lecturers and staff, making it one of the most noted amongst local private colleges in Malaysia.

Taylor's School of Hospitality and Tourism is the nation's most prominent college devoted to hospitality and tourism studies. It is today the Regional Center for Excellence in hospitality and tourism education. It is also certified as the largest hospitality and tourism school in Malaysia. The requirement is 3 credits for it Diploma course and english not a requirement to past.The school's commitment to providing outstanding Hospitality and Tourism programmes is reflected by its astounding facilities that mirror the real working environment of the hospitality and tourism industry. There are three custom-designed fine dining restaurants, practical kitchens, hotel suites, hotel front office reception, culinary suites, and lecture theatres and classroom resembling and named after major hotels for students to apply the skills they acquired throughout the programmes.
