Founded in 1944, TEI has grown to more than 6,000 members in 50-plus worldwide chapters representing 2,800 of the leading businesses in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia.
TEI plays a major role in tax advocacy, working to improve tax policy and administration in the countries in which its members reside.
The UK-based publication 'Tax Business' magazine recently described TEI members as the “biggest, richest, and most influential group of taxpayers in the world.”
