Taurean Henderson

Taurean Henderson is a multi-purpose running back, who played football at Texas Tech. He is considered one of the most versatile running backs in college football history, having amazing rushing and receiving abilities. Although having never rushed for 1,000 yards in a season, he has averaged more than 75 receptions a season since his sophomore year. Currently, he ranks third all time in receptions, out of all players including wide receivers. He has caught over 300 passes in his career. He was born on January 20, 1983, in Gatesville, Texas. Although he was projected by some as a mid-round NFL prospect, Taurean went unchosen in the 2006 NFL draft. However, immediately following the draft he signed as a free agent with the Minnesota Vikings.
Henderson has since been signed by the Atlanta Falcons.
