Taurean Green has also passed the prestigious 1,000 point benchmark in his career at Florida, racking up over 1,000 points in just 3 seasons, one of which he did not play much. Other teamates to pass this benchmark include Joakim Noah(MVP of the 2006 Men's Division I Basketball Tournament), Corey Brewer, fellow starter, and Al Horford, who was the latest of the 4 to pass it doing so in the March 4th game against Kentucky. These four also are roommates. In 2007, its been much the same, as the Gators won the 2007 SEC Tournament. Taurean Green is the son of former NBA player Sidney Green. He is one of the most valuable players Florida has, as he plays more than 25 minutes per game.
