Taupo (NZ electorate)

Taupo is a New Zealand electorate, in the Central North Island, which includes the places of: Acacia Bay; Arapuni; Hikumutu; Kaitieke; Kakahi; Kinloch; Kuratau; Lichfield; Mangakino; Marotiri; Mihi; National Park; Ngakonui; Ngapuke; Ohakune; Okoroire; Omori; Orautoha; Owhango; Puketurua; Putaruru; Raetihi; Rangitaiki; Taupo; Tihoi; Tirohanga; Tokaanu; Tokoroa; Turangi; Wairakei; Waitahanui; Waotu; Whakamaru and Whakapapa Village.

The seat is normally regarded as a safe Labour Party seat, and is currently held by the Hon. Mark Burton.
