Age is no limit for Tatiana
"Age has no meaning whatsoever. Some skaters become champions at 15, others achieve this later on. There is no age limit for competitions and I can skate until I'm 40 if I want to. I don't have problems with my jumps and I'm winning against the younger competitors. And by the way, I look like I'm 16, and I'm skating that way," she emphasized. She's gotten 1st in every Uzbekistan Championship she competed in. Her magnificent place of 4th in the 1999 World Championships made her one of the best skaters in the world. Obviously, her age has not interfered with her outstanding competition results. However, now she prefers to coach students, watching their competitions, and staying at home with her baby son Illya.
