The Tasmania official football team is the official football (soccer) team for the Australian state of Tasmania.
The all star team of Tasmania represented the state in two matches. Tasmania was defeated by the Australian national football (soccer) team (October 10, 1984). It was officially a B-Team of Australia, but many A-Team players were included: Wally Savor, Alan Davidson, Joe Watson, Frank Farina , Paul Wade, Graham Arnold (current coach of the Australian national football (soccer) team since 2006).[1] Tasmania achieved a draw against Tahiti national football team May 1, 1985.[2]
The lineups of a further match between Tasmania and Australia July 21, 1956 are known, but the result is not retrieved.[3]
