Not to be confused with Tasman Motorsports, a former CART team.

Tasman Motorsport is a V8 Supercar racing team. It was formed in 2004 out of what was the Lansvale Racing Team. The Team Principal is Kevin Murphy. The current drivers are Jason Richards and Andrew Jones.

Tasman motorsport entered the series in 2004, set up by Kevin Murphy (father of Greg Murphy, a driver in the series), with a single Holden VX Commodore driven by Jason Richards. At the Queensland Raceway round and after, they used a new VY Commodore and entered the VX as car #43 for Fabian Coultard. (only for the Oran Park round)

2005 saw the team upgrade to a two car operation and move to a new factory near Melbourne, from their previous site in Sydney. With Dodo the naming sponsor of the team, both Jason Richards, and the second driver, Jamie Whincup, had some very good placings including 3rd at the Sandown 500 and 2nd in the Bathurst 1000.

2006 saw improved pace with drivers Jason Richards and Andrew Jones. Tasman Motorsport won their first V8 race at Winton Motor Raceway in June 2006 behind the wheel of Jason Richards in the second race (reverse grid). Also at the same event the team got their best qualifying result of 3rd on the grid. It has been announced that Greg Murphy will join his father and race for the team in the 2007 season.
