[edit] SG-1

I believe the running gag of food references in stargate sg-1 to be relevant information. As with any work, writers spend time inserting inside jokes and references. SG-1 is no different. I suggest you look for such references and instances pertaning to food in as many episodes as able. Then look to see how how they are linked. The example of Teal'c and the dough nuts is a great one. Then go to the episode page for each episode where Teal'c eats a donut and add a short explanation in a notes section describing the episodes wherein Teal'c eats a donut, and episodes wherein someone comments on donuts missing (a la Jack O'neill) good luck

And as I continue looking, here's another one. It's in the talk page. Thanks for the support.Tarkaan 02:19, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] SG1 Food References

4x15 Jack eats Fruit Loops every day during the Time Loop episode.
6x21 In one of Jonas' visions, it is revealed to him that "Mexican" will be served for lunch in the mess hall.
7x12 At the end of the episode, O'Neill ends an awkward conversation with Carter by suggesting, "Lunch?" Carter used "Lunch?" at times during Season 6 to end conversations with Jonas Quinn.
7x15 While on a stakeout of Daniel's house, Teal'c brings donuts. ("He loves a good stakeout.")
7x21 Jack has the repository of the ancients downloaded into his brain yet again, and spends his time recovering from and anticipating the incident at home. Sam, Teal'c, and Dr. Jackson stop by. Teal'c brings..........donuts.
8x03 Lockdown, General O'Neill is less concerned with the appeal of the Russian soldier and more concerned with the consistency of the mashed potatoes in the cafeteria - Yukon Golds instead of Russets.
8x04 Zero Hour, Daniel and Teal'c, in an attempt to distract Major Carter from "brooding" in her office by suggesting "Lunch?" When Jack's aide approaches him about the breakdown in talks with potential new allies, Jack replies, "Have you tried donuts? Krispy Kreme?"

P.S. Yukon Golds make superior mashed.

8x09 Sacrifices, Brey'tec (I'll spell check that later) is explaining to Jack that the wedding will take place on Earth. Jack's question, "There will be cake?"

Oh yes, and if you find this and you have something to add, please do it below this line -------------- and tag your addition.Tarkaan 02:37, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Stargate_SG-1/Season_8#Gemini_.5B8.11.5D check wikiquote, under each episode of sg-1 there are quotes, some of which involve food references. remember to write in a neutral launguage, that is, sound encyclopedicMwhope

8x07 Affinity, "One thing about a stakeout - you never eat healthy." -- Sam's boyfriend. Also, Sam: "We checked a couple of pizza joints and online delivery places near your apartment to see if there had been any sudden repeat customers." Teal'c: "An interesting investigative method." Sam: "Yeeeah. I thought it was a little crazy at first too."

[edit] Other SG1 crap I intend to include...

The closing line of 8x07 Avatar: "Yeah. It's what we do." Obvious callback to Wormhole Xtreme.

Act I of 8x07 Affinity, a purse snatcher runs away, spilling a bag of groceries. Teal'c picks up an avocado and throws it at the fleeing suspect, hitting him in the head, dead on target, from several metres away. This scene can be found in Crocodile Dundee.
