Tarita Virtue was selected as "The Sexiest Private Investigator in America" by Maxim Magazine after her work with Anthony Pellicano ("the PI to the Stars") became public. She has since changed career paths and is now a successful actress and model.
The most common question that she is asked (almost on a daily basis) is "what are you?" Her answer is best summarized by saying "a little of everything." She was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad to a Jamaican father and Trinidadian mother, but was raised in Boca Raton, FL. Since she arrived 2 months early, in the middle of Carnival Time, her parents had to quickly come up with a name. After reading an article about Marlon Brando's wife Tarita, they immediately knew that this unique name was prefect for their equally unique daughter.
This culturally diverse background has impacted her life in many positive ways...and yes, Tarita Virtue really is her birth name!

She was both the "Homecoming Queen" and "Student Government President" at Spanish River High School in Boca Raton, Florida.
Before becoming an actress & model, Tarita was a Private Investigator at The Pellicano Investigative Agency in Los Angeles, California.
Tarita is Jewish and studies Kabbalah.
She has been a vegetarian for over 17 years.
During college, Tarita attended summer programs at Harvard University, Florida Atlantic University and the University of Miami.
She majored in Sociology at Rollins College in Winter Park, FL.
Tarita was a premature baby (arriving 2 months early and only weighing 4 lbs. 4 ounces).
Tarita attended law school at The University of Florida, in Gainesville, FL.
