Taran Killam

Taran Killam (born April 1, 1982) is an American comic actor. Killam is most notable for his membership in the recurring cast of comedians on sketch comedy series MADtv.

[edit] Biography

Taran Killam was born on April 1, 1982 in Culver City, California. Since he was a little child, Killam was exposed to the entertainment industry (his great uncle was The Untouchables star Robert Stack). In 1994, he made his first film appearance in the Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult. He had a small role in Max Keeble's Big Move as the bully who took Max's bike. Afterwards, he made a series of television appearances in shows like The Amanda Show, The Jersey, Judging Amy, Touched by an Angel, Roswell and Undressed.

Killam officially joined the cast of MADtv in 2001, as a feature performer, for the seventh season. Killam's only character was Daniel from the Dorothy Lanier sketches. He was also noted for his uncanny celebrity impressions of Prince William, Tobey Maguire, Justin Timberlake, Dustin Diamond, Barry Watson, Josh Hartnett, Alex Band and Mark Steines. Killam's tenure on MADtv was limited to only one season. At the end of Season Seven, in 2002, his contract was not renewed.

After his tenure on MADtv, Killam made appearances on several television shows like Jake in Progress, Still Standing, Boston Public, The Amanda Show, Drake & Josh, Do Over, Roswell and Judging Amy. His film credits include: Just Married, Big Fat Liar, Anderson's Cross and Stuck in the Suburbs. He is now a regular cast member on season 3 of Nick Cannon's Wild 'N Out. Nobody's Watching. Nobody's Watching never aired because the audience members were confused about the concept. The television show did leaked on to YouTube, though [[1]].

Killam is the great-nephew of Robert Stack.
As of April of 2006, Killam is the youngest person to join the cast of MADtv.
He had a starring role as Jordan Cahill on a Disney movie Stuck in the Suburbs, they revealed his actual birthday. He also has a series that was previously greenlighted by NBC, Nobody's Watching
Taran appeared as a contestant on The Price is Right which aired on December 7, 2006. He won a tennis machine and $6,000.
