Tara Station

Tara Station (多良駅 Tara-eki?) is a train station in Tara, Fujitsu District, Saga Prefecture, Japan. It is operated by JR Kyushu and is on the Nagasaki Main Line. The limited express Kamome makes occasional special stops here during the Gatalympics (the main stop for the Gatalympics is Hizen-Iida.

There are two tracks flanked by two platforms and a footbridge connecting them. It is minimally staffed, and often unmanned at night. Tara station lacks a MARS system and ticket vending machines, but a POS ticketing system is in place so the attendant can sell tickets.

- April 16, 1934 - Opening by Railway Ministry
- June 6, 1976 - Track from Tosu to Nagasaki is electrified
- April 1, 1987 - Railways privatize and the station is inherited by JR Kyushu
