Tara McKelvey

Tara Shannon McKelvey (born 1963) is an American journalist who is a senior editor at The American Prospect.

McKelvey began her journalism career as a clerk at The New York Times, following her 1985 graduation from Georgetown University.

McKelvey, a research fellow at New York University School of Law's Center on Law and Security, is also a frequent contributor to The New York Times Book Review and a contributing editor of Marie Claire magazine[1].
