Tango (ball)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Tango by Adidas was the official match ball of 1978 FIFA World Cup in Argentina.

It introduced a new design which would be used for the next twenty years, in modification and in liking. It was the most expensive ball in history with a £50 price tag. Along with the Telstar, this was and still is the most popular design used in soccer ball history. The Tango has been seen in such famous football coutries as Germany Italy and England.
