Tangara School for Girls is located in Cherrybrook, NSW Australia. Founded in 1982 by Parents for Education (The PARED Foundation), the school has grown to a student population of approximately 660 students. Tangara also has two feeder schools Reteval Wahroonga an Retaval Bellfield.These two schools have kindergarten and year 1 for boys and girls. The boys continue their education at Redfield College whilst the girls continue their education at Tangara School.
In February 2007, the school celebrated its 25th Anniversary.
The school's principal is Dr. Marie - Therese Gibson.
At the request of PARED, Opus Dei provides religious education and a chaplaincy. However, unlike schools overseas, Opus Dei does not run the school.
