Tanc Sade

Australian native Tanc Sade was working in several theatre productions in Australia before landing a recurring role on Gilmore Girls in 2004. Tanc still has an active role in Australian theatre as the Artistic Director for Ricochet Working Productions, where in the past he has written, produced, directed and performed in several productions.

Unsure of what direction to take in his late teens, Tanc was busy completing an Environmental Science degree, competing in National Cross Country Mountain Bike events and working in the theatre. After much soul searching and near physical exhaustion he decided to concentrate on his acting career where he was soon named "Young Emerging Australian Talent" in 2002. He starred in the 2001 Australian Film Code 2 directed by Craig Gaudion alongside Australian acting legend Max Cullen.

Finn, his character in "Gilmore Girls," was written specifically for him because the creators liked him so much and wanted him on the show. His character is a very eccentric and expositional "playboy" who likes his alcohol, girls and parties. He and his best friend Colin are sources of constant comic relief, such as when they wanted to adopt Logan by claiming they were gay, or make fun of a particularly bad folk singer on a night out. Finn's catchphrase is "Have I met you yet?", which he asks Rory Gilmore many times.
