Tameer-i-Nau Public college, Quetta. One of the best college of Balochistan, a province of Pakistan. It is situated at Gulistan road Quetta cannt, in the heart of the Provincial capital city of Quetta.

[edit] Establishment
Tamer-i-Nau public College, Quetta was established in July 1983 A.D. It is the fruit of untiring efforts of a group of dedicated, sincere and educated lovers who felt the great need of quality education compatible with the teaching of Islam. It is purely a social welfare non-commercial educational compatible institution governed by a registered body namely Idara Tameer-i-Nau Balochistan, Quetta. Professor Salah-ud-Din,Ehsan Elahi,Nasir,Zeeshan Hashmi, Maqsood,Noor Mohammad Hamdam and Munir Sahib are the one`s making the institution better and better day after day.We cannot discard the services of other faculty members.

The institution is well-reputed for its discipline, academic record and extra-curricular activities. The very first batch from this college secured the top positions in F.S.c exams. Then, onwards this institution has been showing excellent results not only in academic field but also in extra-curricular activities.
Principal of Tameer-i-Nau public college in recognition of outstanding services has been awarded with Sitara-i-Imtiaz ( a civil award ) by president of Islamic republic of Pakistan. Federal ministry of education, Islamabad has awarded this college Certificate of Merit and Excellence for five times judging it as the best college of Balochistan. The college has achieved the award of “Best college” , “best Principal” and “best Student” for the year 2003 from the Balochistan Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Quetta.

The aims and objectives of the college are to provide the students with systematic and scientific knowledge of Islamic ideology and to endeavour to save the young generation from prevalent and moral turpitude, to enable the students to achieve a uniform development of their physical intellectual and spiritual potential so as to make them true member of the Islamic society, useful and patriotic citizen of Pakistan and the enlightened inhabitants of the globe at large.

The building of college is not only modern in its structure but also very attractive, imposing and it has a serene and pleasant atmosphere. The college building consists of eighteen lecture rooms; five separate Science laboratories, Principal’s Office, Conference Hall, Staff Room, Account Office, Gymnasium, Science Room, Library, Audio Video Room, Playground and Mosque.
The entire complex is extended to an area of about 4.5 acre of land. The college complex has been designed by the reputed and most reliable construction company namely, M/S Pervaiz Iqbal Associates Lahore.

College has 18 classrooms each having a capacity to accommodate 90 students. The class rooms are equipped with furniture and other requisites. The classrooms are spacious, bright well ventilated. There are 5 science laboratories fully equipped with latest requisite article and items for Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, and Computer.
College library consist of thousands of books on various subjects. The library books are coded in the latest system namely Dewey decimal classification system.
The college complex has been provided with a provision of a very attractive spacious modern Gymnasium. Auditorium hall is used for various functions debates, speeches etc. The college complex is also provided with a cafeteria provide where food is available in accordance with hygienic rules.
On the spiritual side a very beautiful and dignified mosque has been provided for performance of religious duties.

It is compulsory for students to wear college uniform during college hours, which is white shirt and khaki colored trousers with black shoes, also a black neck tie for students of B.com only. In severe winters of Quetta the college uniform have an addition of navy blue sweaters or navy blue blazer. The College identity card is also compulsory to display during college hours.
