Tamara Taylor (born 27th September 1970) is a Canadian television actress. Born in Toronto to a black Canadian father and a Scottish-Canadian mother, she is currently appearing as Dr. Camille Saroyan, head of the Forensic Division, in Bones. She also appeared in the CBS medical drama 3 lbs. as Della and the UPN series Sex, Love & Secrets in the role of Nina, both of which were short-lived.
Taylor made guest appearances on NCIS, Numb3rs, Lost, CSI: Miami, Without a Trace, Party of Five and Dawson's Creek among other shows. Tamara also played a small role in the movie Serenity.

She made her fist appearance in season 2 of Bones episode 1 "The Titan On The Tracks" and started portraying the character of Dr. Camille Soroyan. In the first 6 episodes of Bones season 2 (The Titan On The Tracks, The Mother And Child In The Bay, The Boy In The Shroud, The Blond In The Game, The Truth In The Lye and The Girl In Suite 2103) she was credit as "Guest Starrting", until in episode 7 (The Girl With The Curl) and on her name and own little "movie" was on the Bones title sequence and credited as a main character of the series.
