Australian Progressive Rock Band. (1967-1972, 1994-95, 2002)

Evolved from surf band The Sunsets in 1967 and based on Sydney's northern beaches.

The original lineup and the one featured on the first album was:

  • Lindsay Bjerre (vocals,guitar)
  • Peter Barren (bass)
  • Dannie Davidson (drums)
  • Alez 'Zac' Zytnik (guitar)

Other members:

  • Tim Gaze (vocals,guitar) - replaced Zytnik in 1970
  • Nigel Macara (drums) - replaced Davidson in 1971
  • Larry Duryrea aka Larry Taylor (percussion) 1971-72
  • Richard Lockwood (woodwind) 1971-72

The band reformed in 1994 with the early 1971 line-up of Bjerre, Barron, Gaze and Macara to record the album "Permanent Culture" and then again with the same line-up for The Long Way to the Top package tour in 2002.
