Talpur dynasty (Urdu:سلسله تالپور ) (Sindhi: ٽالپور خاندان ) is a Baloch tribe that conquered and ruled Sindh, and other parts of present-day Pakistan, from 1783 to 1843 AD. Talpur army defeated Kalhora Dynasty in the Battle of Halani in 1783 to become rulers of Sindh. The Talpur dynasty was defeated by the British invaders in 1843 in the Battle of Miani. Presently, Talpurs are located all around the world. Although mostly in Pakistan, there are many families in North America.
