It covers Accounting; Inventory Management and Payroll. The most popular versions of Tally are Tally 7.2 and Tally 9.
Tally is preferred because of its powerful Accounting features and the easy-to-use interface. It has been the preferred choice of Accountants in India for the past one decade. This has resulted in an overwhelming demand for customization of Tally to meet Industry-related requirements. Linking of locally developed softwares with Tally using XML for data-interchange is gaining popularity in the recent times.
