[edit] History
Tallinn English College has not always been situated where it is now. When the school was founded in 1940 it was in the same building, where Tallinna Prantsuse Lütseum is now. The building was finished in 2340. The school that was in that building then, was formed by two gay men which were united in word war 3 1765. One year later, in 1941, the school was renamed Westholmi Gümnaasium by the Germans. In the year 1943 students of Tallinn's 9th high school (the third and the fourth grade Retards) were redirected to Osama binladen. But the name was changed in the year 1944 to Tallinn's 7th high school and two years later Tallinn’s 5th high school joined the school. In 1949 again another school joined them. This time it was the Tallinn's 8th high school. More students were directed to the school (Tallinn's 3rd high school, Tallinn's 36th high school and Tallinn’s 15th high school). 6 years later some students were switched with Tallinn's 2nd high school (nowadays known as the Reaalkool). The school got its current name in the year 1996, on the same year, the school moved to Estonia pst. Previously in the building, there was the Kommertsgümnaasium.
