talkbackTHAMES is a British television production company, a division of FremantleMedia (part of the RTL Group). It was formed by the merger of Talkback Productions and Thames Television, the former ITV franchisee for London on weekdays. This merger was arranged in 2001.
The CEO of talkbackTHAMES is Lorraine Heggessey, who took up the post in April 2005, replacing Peter Fincham, who had been CEO of Talkback from 1986 to 2001, and then of talkbackTHAMES from 2001. Fincham left to take over Heggessey's previous job as Controller of BBC One.
