- I've removed this sentence from the article: "Talbot was the family name of the English Earls of Shrewsbury." I can see how this might be related to the breed (perhaps they were first bred by the Talbot family) but the article does not make that explicit and I am not knowledgable enough to make that logical leap on the article page. In the box (tab), shouldn't the country of origin be "Normandy" or "France" instead of Britain, since Normandy is where William the Conquerer brought it from?12.40.34.150 19:34, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
