Talitor is a private Norwegian company specializing in Closed-circuit television (CCTV) and Digital video recorder solutions. The company was founded by Terje Strand in 1987 and have their headquarters in Rolvsøy on the outskirts of Fredrikstad.

Talitor (FAR EAST) CO., LTD in Taipei, Taiwan and their branch office in Guangdong, China are both sister companies of Talitor AS. Manufacturing and wholesale to installers of CCTV surveillance systems are the company´s main area of business, including tailored special CCTV solutions made to order.

The company was originally named Tellinor but agreed to take a new name in 1995 when a Norwegian phone company, then named Televerket, decided to change its name to the present Telenor.

There was also a subdivision in the UK, the Talitor UK LTD. This subdivision was closed down when trading through the internet made the UK division redundant.
