[edit] Taiwan articles

Please do not use Template:Politics of Taiwan and Template:Politics of Taiwan footer in the same article. Use one or the other as they are redundant. Please also do not link to articles in the "see also" section if these articles are already linked in the article or are not of immediate relevance: Wikipedia:See_also#See_also.--Jiang 05:14, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your username

I'm sorry, your username could be politically divisive. It could be interpreted as your claiming to be editing on behalf of Taiwan, and that would cause issues. From the policy, "Wikipedia is a world-wide source book, so take care to avoid anything that might cause offence to someone from a different culture, religion, or ethnic group." This name falls under that category. Please see Wikipedia:Changing Username and request a change within 48 hours or we will be forced to block your account. Thank you. -- malo (tlk) (cntrbtns) 22:03, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

48 hours has been exceeded and you have made no attempt to have your username changed. Therefore I have blocked your account indefinitely. -- malo (tlk) (cntrbtns) 22:31, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Taipei_101_International_Finadncial_Center.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

[edit] Image:Ma -Ying-jeou.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Ma -Ying-jeou.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Bob 16:43, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] "Taiwan" not the same as "Republic of China"

Please do not change the Taiwan article to conform to your own ideas about the world. The Republic of China is the state which now governs the island of Taiwan and some smaller islands. The Republic of China was established in Biejing after the fall of the Qing Dynasty. The article "Taiwan" is not written to insult or disparage the Republic of China or anyone else. A worldwide encyclopedia like Wikipedia must maintain a strict neutrality towards all matters of fact, including political and historical fact. I am sure that you will understand.Writtenright 00:48, 1 March 2007 (UTC)Writtenright

[edit] Chiang Kai-shek and Sun Yat-sen

These articles are not protected. Why did you put the Sprotected2 template on them? Rettetast 14:42, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Regarding Mao Zedong

I reverted your edit to this article. I believe that referring to Chiang Kai Shek as "Generalissimo" violates our NPOV policy. If you would like to discuss this matter please respond on the relevant article talk page or my talk page. Kind regards Xdenizen 11:32, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

Before making controversial edits to articles, you should initiate a discussion on the relevant talk page. I have once again reverted your edit to Mao Zedong. I'd appreciate it if you'd seek a consensus. Xdenizen 11:35, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Republic of China. Please be careful not to remove content from Wikipedia without a valid reason, which you should specify in the edit summary or on the article's talk page. Take a look at our welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. -Loren 17:15, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Blue

This message is regarding your edit to Blue. The article, with the section merged in, is 50KB, large enough that one section can deserve its own article, something that definitely has to be done before the article gets bigger. Georgia guy 14:01, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Pacific War

Hello. Please don't just blindly revert the article, as you're undoing several good changes. If you want to change something in the article, just edit the page, don't revert to a version that's too old. Thanks. Parsecboy 20:11, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Has your account been compromised?

As your earlier edits are not vandalism, I'm wondering if your account has been compromised? ElinorD (talk) 14:07, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Chiang Kai-shek, you will be blocked from editing. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link.
