The issue of Taiwanese VS Chinese is complex to say the least. Me, being a mixture of Taiwanese & Chinese; i must express my view as a second generation "Chinese".

i think the debate will rage on as long as China and Taiwan has a separate identity. As the article had correctly pointed out, most of the inhabitant are of Chinese decent, so why the identity confusion? the fact that Communism is practised in China does not mean that all Chinese are Communist? We all once had a comman identity, the proud Chinese Nation, the peaceful, cultural Middle Kindom!

Let us look beyond the current political difference, they will always be different, let us rather work on formulating a comman identity once again.
