Taiyuan University of Technology (太原理工大学) is a university in Shanxi, China, under the authority of the provincial government. In 2002 it celebrated its 100th anniversary, although it was originally part of Shanxi University, and didn't become an independent university until much later. It is listed officially as one of the 'Top 100 universities in China', according to the Chinese government.
