[edit] Battlestar Galactica
In 2003, the 1978 science fiction television series Battlestar Galactica was "reimagined" as a three hour miniseries on the SciFi Channel. The project was written and produced by Ronald D. Moore and directed by Michael Rymer. Tahmoh Penikett starred as Karl "Helo" Agathon, a Lieutenant in the Colonial Fleet. The miniseries proved highly successful, and a Battlestar Galactica series was commissioned; Tahmoh Penikett continues to play Lt. Agathon as a regular cast member. Battlestar Galactica is filmed mostly in Vancouver, Canada and is currently in its third season.
His character did not feature in the original 1978 series.
