Tahir Mohsan

Tahir Mohsan is a the founder of TIME Computers .

TIME Computers was set up by Tahir Mohsan and his half-brother, Dr Tariq Mohammed, in 1987 with an investment of just £1,000. Tahir, the group's 33-year- old chairman, now gives addresses in both Dubai and Blackburn, not far from the company's HQ at Simonstone, Burnley.

Following its takeover of rival Tiny in 2002, the £207m-turnover Time Computers group was one of Britain's leading computer manufacturers and had a national chain of retail stores that traded under the Computer World brand. The last accounts showed a £2.6m profit.

However, the business faced difficulties and went into administration in July 2005.

Mohsan also owns Supanet, an internet service provider.
