"Tag Team Trouble" is the tenth episode of The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3.
[edit] Synopsis
Toad is taking a bag full of one million gold coins to the local orphanage. As he does this, Larry Koopa and Bowser are plotting to go after a different load of coins. Bowser sees a solution, but Larry sees an easier solution: steal Toad's coins. Taking no notice, Bowser moves on. Toad delivers the coins to the orphanage, but falls asleep before they are taken in. Toad wakes up and assumes that the coins were stolen. He then sees Bowser's idea as well: The Tag Team Wrestling match. He signs his wrestler cousins up, as Bowser signs the Sledge Brothers up. Larry then puts the cousins to sleep with hypnotism, and Toad is unable to wake them up. The Mario Bros. then discover what is going on and train with Toad to ready themselves for the match.
At the competition, the Mario Brothers, as the Masked Mashers of Mayhem, face the Sledge Brothers. Larry had rigged the place with traps, giving the Marios a hard time. Fortunately, Peach gives the Mario Brothers Starmen. Using their powers, they easily defeat the Sledge Brothers, along with Bowser and Larry. Toad then takes the money to the orphanage and discovers that the first bag of money was already received. After discovering this, Toad faints.
