Tadotsu, Kagawa

Tadotsu (多度津町 Tadotsu-chō?) is a town located in Nakatado District, Kagawa, Japan.
As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 23,683 and a density of 973.01 persons per km². The total area is 24.34 km².
Tadotsu is the place where Shorinji Kempo (少林寺拳法) settles its headquarters (Hombu). Shorinji Kempo was founded in Japan in 1947 by Doshin So, earning for him the title Kaiso (founder). It was formed as a way or practice for developing one's personality through a combination of learning, mastery of techniques, and being influenced by a unique educational system.
