Tadepalle, popularly known as Kotturu-Tadepalle is a beautiful village situated at a distance of about 8 km from the boarder of Vijayawada on its northern side (Milk-Project exit-- crossing the Vijayawada-Hyderabad railway line) on the main road leading to Mylavaram -- Vissannapet in Krishna District. This village has Two Sivaru villages namely Kotturu and Vemavaram. Tadepalle village has a population of about 4,000. The main occupation of the people in this village is agriculture. This village is also known for its Mango gardens. The Right canal of the Proposed Famous Indira Sagar (Polavaram) Multipurpose Irrigation project, passes through the valuable garden lands of Vemavaram and Tadepalle before it merges with the Budameru Diversion canal at VELAGALERU village to join the Krishna River.

This village has a Zilla Parishad High School and also two primary schools to cater to the educational needs of boys and girls. For higher education these boys and girls have to look to Vijayawada only.

Transport Facility: A.P.S.R.T.C runs its buses from Vijayawada (Pundit Nehru Bus station) to Vissannapet/Mylavaram through this village. Apart from this,many Autos are plying on Tadepalle-Vijayawada road to facilitate the commuting public.
