Tad Murty

Tad S. Murty(Or Murthy) is an Indian-Canadian oceanographer and expert on tsunamis. He is the former president of the Tsunami Society. He is an adjunct professor of Civil Engineering at University of Ottawa | link Murty has a a PhD in oceanography and meteorology from the University of Chicago.

He is co-editor of the journal Natural Hazards [1] with Tom Beer of CSIRO and Vladimir Schenk of the Czech Republic.

He has taken part in a review that impugns the 2007 IPCC report which strongly calls for action to prevent further climate change. He has stated he believes human activity makes no contribution to global warming.
