TADIL-J is a Tactical Digital Information Link (TADIL) which is currently used by the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, the NSA, several NATO countries, and Japan as part of the Link 16 system. TADIL-J refers specifically to the message format used in Link-16 ("J" series messages)and is implemented by MIL-STD-6016C with change 1. Additionally, the term TADIL is obsolete (per DISA guidance) and is now more commonly seen as TDL (Tactical Data Link).
