[edit] Who ruined this page?
We had a fairly good page before, who deleted all the good stuff? I removed everything about units and clans, that is not important for an encyclopedia article. Someone needs to redo everything we did to make this page acceptable.

After seeing the quality request, I realised this page probably made no sense to non players of the game so Ive added an explaination of how the game is actually played.

PYRO from the Legend's Server here. I cleaned up the history of the game and the clans to be a little more, lets say, true. I also made the Units section more streamlined, and the Game Services section less biased towards Legends.

Was shown this page from another person in the community and edited it up. Just didn't feel like the page was actually that helpful or representative of the game itself in its original state.
Basically made it less insulting (i.e. a section on grey jumping but nothing about the ratings?) and more factual based.
Hopefully this should be a lot more straighforward and clear for non-players of the game. Also added in some new links to the various pages, including the Game Guide from the TAO website.
Take a good look.
[edit] Editing and Expanding
I've done some minor edits to make some things clearer, and I've slapped on an expansion box as well. I was tempted to put in a cleanup box, since the article doesn't read much like an encylcopaedic entry. In any case, further clarification of the individual servers, history, and other important information (Seed's other projects, community projects) will have to be incorporated some time in the future. I do not want to keep reverting edits made to this article about upstart clans or personal marketing. This is an encyclopaedia, not a gaming site. There's a fine line between game information and marketing. Permafrost 11:59, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

The page USED to read like a decent encyclopedic article. Sections on various basic tactics, the rating system, etc. My first question is...who were the idiots who messed with the page that a good 10 people spent some considerable time and effort putting together a while ago?
Likewise, as amusing as it is for the page to be Legends server oriented, a full spread would be more useful for people discovering the game as the TAO servers recieve a lot more incoming players and (usually) have never even heard of the Legends site/server (making Legends specific info largely useless and confusing).

- I don't know. I've just about given up on it and moved onto more serious articles. I agree, it needs a major overhaul - something which I can't do with my limited editting experience. Tactics Arena 2 is a recurring lie. Anyone who sees this should delete it. It keeps getting edited in, and it's annoying. Also, the FPS servers recieve over three hundred thousand sign ups a month, not individual users. Agent Novichok 23:16, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
