T. Marshall Rousseau

T. Marshall Rousseau is perhaps best known for his two-decade role as the Executive Director of the Salvador Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida, from which he retired in July 2002. Rousseau is honored with the status of Executive Director Emeritus and continues to serve as a consultant for the museum store.
He is active in many organizations and serves on various boards of directors, including The Salvador Dalí Museum (1984-2004), John and Mable Ringling Museum (2002-present), Tampa Museum of Art (2004-present), Arts Center of St. Petersburg (2004-present), The Florida Orchestra (1981-1991), and the Florida Arts Council (1984-1986).
Rousseau earned his B.A. degree from Valparaiso University in 1955; in 1995, he was awarded the Alumni Achievement Award. He continues to serve Valparaiso University as a member of the National Council of the College of Arts & Sciences.
T. Marshall Rousseau is currently an adjunct professor at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, where he teaches courses on museum management. He is a resident of Sarasota, Florida.
