T'Les was a recurring character during the fourth season of the television series Star Trek: Enterprise, and was portrayed by Joanna Cassidy.

T'Les was the mother of T'Pol, the science officer aboard the Enterprise (NX-01), and the granddaughter of T'Mir, a Vulcan explorer featured in the episode "Carbon Creek". She first appeared in the episode "Home".

In "Home", T'Pol and Trip Tucker travel to Vulcan to visit with her mother. T'Pol learns that, due to her daughter's involvement with Starfleet and her role in the destruction of the Vulcan sanctuary at P'Jem (as seen in the first season episode, "The Andorian Incident"), T'Les was forced into early retirement from the Vulcan Science Academy when charges of stealing classified information, later found to have been falsified, were brought up against her. In order to help restore her mother's honor, T'Pol agreed to marry Koss, a member of a powerful Vulcan family.

T'Les next appeared in the episodes "The Forge" and "Awakening" in which it was revealed that during her forced retirement (and possibly before), T'Les had joined a radical group of Vulcans known as the Syrrannites, who were supposedly responsible for the bombing of the Earth Embassy on Vulcan (a charge falsified by a corrupt Vulcan leader). One of her colleagues in this group is future Vulcan leader, T'Pau.

During an attack on the Syrrannite camp by enemy forces, T'Les is mortally wounded and dies in T'Pol's arms. The death of her mother profoundly effects T'Pol and the later episode "These Are the Voyages..." would reveal that T'Pol was still grieving six years later. T'Pol possessed an IDIC pendant given to her by her mother.
