Talk:T-square (fractal)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I asume the fractal dimension of the curve is 2.0 but I'm not sure, (I'm not very good at the rules of dimension claculation). Scale by 2 myltiply by 4 vill give log4 / log2 = 2.0. If you can comfirm this then please write it to the page. =P // Solkoll 20:53, 2 Dec 2004 (UTC)

hum... seams correct : 4 points, division by two. A fractal dimension of 2, for a plane object, means that it is not fractal... And actually, for sure, this object finish up as the square all black. Gem fr 17:47, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)
My mistake : the black surface is not fractal, but the line (contour) is Gem fr 18:01, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)
moreover, a plane object can be fractal even with a fractal dimension of 2, the black surface is fractal. Second and third mistake. Gee, I'll better stop editing and return to bed. Gem fr 18:15, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Why the capital S?

Is there a reason why this fractal is called "T-Square" instead of "T-square"? I'll probably translate this article to Indonesian and I'm not sure whether to use "Kotak T" or "kotak T".

Thanks a lot.
