The T-600G is a variant of the well known T-600 Model from The Terminator series. This particular model was never shown in film, or even mentioned, and it's original creator is unknown, Which lead many into the belief that it is purely fanfiction.

[edit] History

Sometime after Skynet had produced the T-600 infiltrator, it realized that the model simply did not play it's role effectivly on the battlfield, mainly because it was unconvincing, after so many hours on the battlefield their rubber "skin" degraded into strange colors, red, green, and even white. It's other flaws included poor shock protection in it's cranial cavity, where the CPU was, so a good hit to the head would short out it's programming making it do very strange things, or fail altogether. Skynet had decided to call back an unknown amount of T-600's for complete disassembly. While designing the T-700's Skynet was studying human behavior patterns on the battlefield and on test subjects that had been captured, it concluded that a human's mental capacity was greatly reduced when in a state of fear or panic, it then began to study the specific brainwaves that triggered fear inside the human mind. It then designed a device commonly referred to by humans as the "Fear Field Generator", it was a device that sent a signal out within a specific area that triggered panic attacks within human brains, it should be stated that it is unknown if anything other than humans were affected by this signal. Skynet then proceded to design a terrifying unit to equip this device on, so it could be effectivly used in the battlefield. After countless hours of study on human P.O.W.'s, it decided on a design for the T-600G, codenamed "Gaunt" because of it's very thin spinal design that forced it to hunch forward to keep from damaging it's spine, and the FFG (Fear Field Generator) mounted there.

[edit] A.I.

The T-600G was a sadistic methodical killer, rivaling the casualty count of the T-800 (the most successful killer Skynet made), and was a mirror image of its creator. Even after the fall of Skynet, when all Terminators either went offline or became autonomous, the T-600G's were the biggest threat the human race was left with, because they took after their creator. Although the T-600G was able to be at the front of Skynet's assault, it chose to hide in debris and dark areas, waiting for the oppritune moment to torture a human to death. Their trademark was hanging from ceilings like a bat and reaching down grabbing its prey and killing them as slowly as possible. Its CPU was very different from any other Terminator, it wasn't single minded, it is even said to surpass any Terminator's CPU potential. It was said to be given full autonomy by default, because of this they were able to acquire a depth of intelligence similar to T-800's who joined the resistance, but was trained to be a sadistic killer. It would often gather human body parts and hang them on walls and stack them in piles. They're even said to carry human heads as trophies and "trading items" for other T-600G's. Their database was filled with history on human fears, such as death and countless other phoebia. A human who is confronted by one of these monsters has a 10% chance of living, and 9 1/2% is based on the T-600G's choice, if chosen to live, the creature would conduct phsycological tests on the human, to the point where the human would wish he/she is dead. Their wish will be granted as soon as the testing was finished, although occasionally, they were deskinned and kept in chambers in one of Skynet's facilities for observation of human anatomy and tissue growth. In the event that a human should happen to spot it, although no humans have ever survived to explain what the unit did, it is assumed it played back recordings of screams of it's past victims in sick and disturbing ways, doing this as a distraction while it silently moved about the shadows charging it's FFG which took a little over 45 seconds, then when the humans began to panic, it would do what it did best, kill.

[edit] Appearance

The T-600G's appearance is very hostile and death like, sporting a similar cranium as the T-600 - T-900 series had. It stands at a threatening 10 ft tall in standard mode, more close to 15-17 ft tall fully stretched out. The T-600G has to hunch over due to its spine's length, and with minimal spinal supports, it was incapable of standing straight up and walk at the same time. Its arms and legs were elongated to a lankish length, and its fingers and toes consisted of long razor sharp blades. It was also quadradextrous, enabling it to scale buildings and hang from ceilings with its feet. It could curl up inside its chassis and actively scan for targets in powersaving mode, drawing minimal power from its power supply, which is at this point unknown. The FFG is located on the unit's spinal cavity and when activated by the T-600G, the entire unit glows deep cobalt blue. This signal is a sign for those within a 5 meter range to seek cover immediantly, and sometimes that would fail because nothing, not even electronic disruptors could dissapate the waves from the FFG. When Skynet first released the newly designed T-600G's, they were naked. Later Skynet furthered it's frightening appearance by outfitting the units with "Grim Reaper" type uniforms, these uniforms were made up of tiny nano computers that had the ability to mirror their surroundings, making the unit invisible.

[edit] Combat Roles

The T-600G or "Gaunt" was produced by Skynet to be the second psychological warfare unit in it's army, the other being the T-500R. The unit's purpose was mainly to become an effective killer by means of mentally incapacitating humans, making them very easy to kill. Though it could serve on the frontlines of the battlefield, it preferred to hide in the shadows and activate standby mode, in which it would curl up inside of it's chassis and go into and active scanning mode, where the only thing drawing power from the power source would be it's eyes and parts of it's CPU. When a human would pass by the unit, the T-600G would wait till very last moment and quickly come out of standby and grab it's prey and pull it back into the shadows, where it would either kill the human as slowly as possible, or study the human to the point where they wish the unit had killed them.

[edit] Overall effectivness

The T-600G has killed an unknown amount of humans in it's career as a psycological warfare unit, but it is rumored to rival the body count of Skynet's "Demi God" infiltration unit, the T-800 cyborg. The T-600G not only struck fear in the hearts of soldiers, but it also created many rumors and gossip among the survivors that weren't part of Tech Com's force. It is noted as being called a "Death Angel". Many religious survivors called it a plague, or a death angel wandering the face of the earth, killing all in it's path, finishing what God's Apocolypse had started (the Nuclear war that killed over 3 billion humans). The T-600G had the biggest effect on the Human Resistance that were either very low moraled or superstitious.

[edit] Differences between T-600G and T-500R

The one major difference in the two is the T-500R's lack of cranial cavity, with the sensors placed on the shoulders instead of a head, adding fright. The other notable difference on the two are the parts they're made with, the T-600G's are designed for silent movement so it can catch human's off guard, while the T-500R's parts are naturally noisy to add fear. If the T-500R were to be chasing a low moral human soldier, it could theoretically paralyze him/her by fear of the noise of the servos and various mechanical parts moving closer to its target. The T-500R was also prone to charge blindly at any living organism, destruction of the unit occurred many times as humans learned to trick it into charging at it and into a trap. The T-600G's were much more methodical in terminating humans, they would wait till the last possible moment to strike and in the very rare occasion it missed, it would retract itself into its chassis and would wait for another human to come by, not worrying about the human that got away. The T-500R was notorius for slowly and sadistically killing its victim, and if it knew other humans were in the same room or could hear it, it would kill a human as slowly and painfully as possible, then when it's done it will proceed to playback the screams of pain and terror of its victim to scare the humans watching it. The T-600G can get the same results by simply activating its Fear Field Generator. The T-600G used more guerrila tactics than the T-500R and would not rush after humans blowing its cover and hiding spot. The T-600G would occasionally keep a human alive to do testing on it, such as seeing how much pain it can endure, while the T-500R would blindly kill anything it could, uncaring about becoming a more successful machine.

[edit] Facts

This Terminator was never mentioned in the Terminator Movies, and it is only rumored and hinted at where exactly it came from. Many disregard it's lack of an "officially known" creator, simply because it is grouped with many others with the same lack of origin that are grouped with Terminators that do exist.
